AYA (Ansar Youth Association) is organizing its annual cemetery clean-up at the Edmonton Muslim Cemetery, and we are looking for committed volunteers! Not only is this a great way to help maintain the Muslim Cemetery as a dignified resting place for those who have passed away, but the Messenger of Allah also instructed us to visit cemeteries when he said: “I had prohibited you from visiting graves, but you may visit them now. Verily, they will weaken your attachment to the world and remind you of the Hereafter.”

Equipment will be provided at the event, but please dress appropriately with safe footwear.
